Survey Sampling International Opens 17th Office in Mexico City

Online and telephone sampling solutions, supported by local knowledge and presence, make SSI the premier sample provider around the world

Shelton, Connecticut, USA, September 29, 2009 - Survey Sampling International (SSI) announces the opening of its Mexico City office. Located in one of the most populous cities in the world, SSI's 17th regional office services clients conducting research - both online and telephone - throughout Latin America.  

"We believe it is beneficial to both our clients and our panelists to establish ourselves locally where we embrace the people and the distinctive cultures," explains Mauricio Torres Leclerc, Managing Director, SSI Latin America.

SSI established and continues to grow its online panels in Argentina, Brazil, and Mexico, and offers mobile RDD in these countries as well. SSI is expanding its landline RDD offering throughout Latin America, presently offering sample in Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, and Venezuela.

Both Mauricio and his colleague, Marko Zednik, Client Services Director, bring vast international experience and local knowledge to clients in Latin America. Mauricio, who joined SSI in 2005, was born and raised in Colombia and studied and worked in Canada, France, Holland, Italy, Monaco, Spain, and the US. He speaks Spanish, English, French, and Italian; Marko joined SSI in 2005. He has lived and worked in Spain and Germany, and speaks Spanish, English, and German.

Prior to the opening of SSI Mexico, Mauricio and Marko founded SSI's Madrid office and grew SSI's southern Europe and European key accounts territories with great success. Both had been servicing Latin American clients from Spain.
