SSI-SNAP, SSI's easy-to-use telephone sample ordering interface, enables clients to communicate directly with our production system. Simply download the SSI-SNAP application onto your desktop. The user friendly menu-driven software allows you to select the features you need, such as sample type, business number removal, sample screening, and more. Offering 24/7/365 access to telephone sample, including Wireless/Mobile, SSI-SNAP has proven to be indispensable to survey researchers since 1993.

Calculating Sample Size for SSI-SNAP sample ordering
The sample size is the number of cases selected from the universe to use as the sample. In a telephone methodology example, the amount of telephone numbers required to meet the desired number of interviews is the sample size.

SSI-SNAP user requirements
New users who decide to access SSI's system through SSI-SNAP should contact their account executive. To install the software, follow the instructions displayed by the install process.
Existing clients who have used SSI-SNAP in the past may contact SSI's technical staff. You will be provided with a unique username, which identifies your company to the SSI computer system. The SSI account username gives SSI-SNAP permission to download geography files, send order files to SSI for production, and retrieve samples to the proper directory on your PC.
As a first-time user, SSI-SNAP will prompt you to enter your unique, SSI-assigned username into the Connection Options window.
System requirements
- Windows 95/98, Windows 2000/ME, Windows NT 4.0, Windows XP
Note: Service Pack 3 must be installed on Windows 2000, Service Pack 6 must be installed on Windows NT 4.0 - Internet access or Modem
- 137 MB available disk space for full installation (or less depending upon installation choices)
- LaserQuick option requires PCL-capable printer (e.g., Hewlett Packard)
- Minimum video resolution (display settings for desktop area) 800x600 pixels
