SSI QuickThoughts Mobile Platform Expands Global Reach

QuickThoughts now in 14 countries and on all major mobile platforms

SHELTON, Conn., Nov. 20, 2013 – The SSI QuickThoughts™ mobile data collection platform has expanded its reach to an additional seven countries today: Austria, Belgium, Canada, Norway, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland. The application is now available for all mobile platforms from the Apple App Store, Google Play and Kindle Fire Store.

“SSI’s QuickThoughts is now the most ubiquitous mobile platform in our industry with 14 countries and four technologies supported, with plans to more than double our global reach in 2014,” said Chris Fanning, president and CEO of SSI. “The immediate benefits to our customers are 1) access to respondents who typically join panels from only mobile devices, 2) access to harder to reach respondents such as young, higher educated individuals, and 3) access to an even richer, high quality balanced SSI Blend because SSI’s QuickThoughts platform seamlessly integrates with SSI’s industry leading Dynamix™ sampling platform.”

The QuickThoughts mobile app incorporates the latest technology into an interface that is simple and highly intuitive. The app increases SSI’s capacity in the populations that are difficult for marketing and research professionals to reach – especially young people and IT consumers and professionals. The expansion to additional counties and new platforms allows SSI to reach even more people to finish projects faster while delivering a more representative sample, even for low-incidence studies.

“QuickThoughts allows SSI to include mobile survey-takers from many countries into our SSI Blend while enabling researchers to program surveys on a wide variety of delivery platforms,” said Ken Roe, vice president, SSI Labs. “SSI has been designing and programming surveys for both online and mobile screens in very large numbers for many years, and many of our customers challenged with this necessity are pleased to discover that SSI has developed a strong core compentency in mobile technology and operations.”

SSI is the premier global provider of sampling, data collection and data analytic solutions for survey research, reaching respondents in 78 countries via Internet, telephone, mobile/wireless and mixed-access offerings.
