Mark Lloyd Joins SSI as Company Expands in New Zealand

Auckland, New Zealand, May 17, 2016 – Mark Lloyd, a market research executive with 25 years of experience in client management, research design and enterprise research, recently joined SSI as client and business development manager for New Zealand. Lloyd is responsible for managing SSI’s New Zealand client base as the company continues to expand its presence and panel in the Asia Pacific region.

Lloyd joined the company from market research agency Ignite Research, where he was founder and managing director since 2004. From 1991 to 2004, Lloyd worked for TNS Wellington as a commercial research manager.

“Mark Lloyd is a respected veteran in the New Zealand market research industry. His easy going style endears him to the people he works with and who respect his counsel,” said Mark Lepine, Managing Director, APAC. “He brings a wealth of experience designing research projects using online panels and is well equipped to understand the technologies and processes of our offerings.”

Last year SSI acquired the assets of MyOpinions and SmileCity, two large panel companies in Australia and New Zealand, respectively. With those acquisitions, SSI became the leading online panel provider in both countries and has since been given the highest awards for consistency and quality.

“This is an exciting opportunity to join the pre-eminent company in its sector, with world-class technologies and a first-class team of people at the helm,” said Lloyd. “I was attracted by the opportunity to take a leading role in growing SSI’s business in New Zealand and also enabling New Zealand agencies and organizations to have the best access to consumer and business decision makers.”
